PUBLIC ACCOUNTS
FIGURES GAZETTED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 23. The Public Accounts for the year ended March 31 are gazetted to-day, and the accompanying memorandum from the Minister of Finance says that the certified results for the year as as follows: Revenue . ■ 25,349,861 Expenditure . 25,200,882 Surplus . . 148,979 A general statement regarding the accounts has already been published and any further comments in respect of the details will be included in the Budget.
