PROPOSALS TO IMPROVE SUPPLY

Wellington, January 18. Recommendations concerning the Dominion’s fresh water fish (and game) arc being forwarded Io the Government, by the president of the New Zealand Acclimatisation Societies’ Association (Mr L. O. H. Tripp). Briefly, Mr. Tripp’s proposals are that control of fish and game and the actual ranging to Rotorua and Taupo districts be placed under the Internal Affairs Depart inrnt and expert scientific advice and suj>ervision be invoked to improve fish supply.
