INFLUX OF ASIATICS
* ANOTHER LABOUR PROTEST. PETITION TO PARLIAMENT. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 17. Another emphatic protest from Labour against the continued invasion of the dominion by Asiatics has been entered by the General Labourers’ Union, and will be forwarded to all members of Parliament and to Parliament itself for consideration at the forthcoming session. The protest, in addition to expressing indignation at the continued influx to these shores of Asiatics, points out that it is well known that at least one Celestial is operating in furniture in opposition to Europeans.
