(Received June 6, 5.5 p.m.) The Zinc Corporation does not pay ticipating dividend on the profit of £77,377 owing to tiie suspension ot operations. Hie sum of £31,845 out of the amount appropriated for development and £IO,OOO appropriated for new plant, out of the 1918 accounts, remained unexpended. _ These make the total available £119,950. The directors appropriated £28,000 for development and new plant during 1920. Preferential dividends absorbed £49,318 and the balance £42,811 was carried forward. WOOL SALES. LONDON, June 4. (Received June 6, 5.5 p.m.) At the wool sales thenrSvas a good selection of greasy and scoured merinos. Prices were fully at late rates and firm. Crossbreds were unchanged. A cheerful tone was maintained. LONDON MARKETS. LONDON, June 5. Cotton—Liverpool quotation for American middling up-land July delivery is 25.44 d. Rubber—Fine hard Para 25Jd, plantation first, late, ex crepe 24id; smoked rubber sheet 24fd. Hemp is neglected and prices are unchanged. Jute —Junc-July shipment £57. Copra—The market is weak and prices are nominally unchanged. Linseed oil £9l a ton; Turpentine 170s per cwt.
