(Received June 6, 5.5 p.m.) The Henley Regatta will be shorn of much of its importance owing to tha absence of colonials and foreigners, who gave it international character in 1913-14. The only foreign entrants are the Dutch sculler Eijken and the Union Boat Club, of Boston ( United States) who are contesting the Grand Stewards, Thames Cup and Diamond Sculls. The Boston crew is believed to have a good chance of winning the Grand Stewards as English rowing has not yet recovered its pre-war standard.
