AN M.P. CHALLENGED
RETURNED SOLDIER AND LABOURITE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 10. Mr J. L. Fox, a prominent returned soldier, has sent a letter to Mr P. Fraser, M.P., who is also a city councillor,, stating that ho had noticed Mr Fraser’s name was omitted from the Gounod's address of welcome to the Prince of Wales and he understood this was by Mr Fraser’s own request. Mr Fox animadverts on this and tells Mr Fraser that in former days he would have challenged him to a duel, but as we arc living in modern times he has no alternative but to ask him to resign his seat in the House and he will contest it with him.
