CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYEES. IMPROVEMENTS PROMISED, (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 10. The Minister of Public Works had an interview to-day with representatives of the workers. He said that conditions for workers would have to bo improved. He realised this fully, and bis whole aim and object would be to give union conditions which would make the workers reasonably content. He asked that a committee should meet him the following morning to discuss details. The Government must seek the co-opcration and lielp of the mien. A committee will meet the Minister in the morning.
