ERRING STOKERS
ABSENT WITHOUT LEAVE. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May vJ. Three stokers on H.M.S. Renown were changed in the Police Court yesterday with being absent without leave. They said they had made up their minds to try colonial life. When discovered they were without uniforms. They had received little attention, they had got no work, and were out of money, so they surrendered to the police. They were ordered to be rcturnd" to the Renown at Wellington.
