A meeting has been held at Wolverhampton to bid farewell to the Revs Selwvn and StiUJtfelaaeirian misoiouarfes. TheTT. and O. Company has declared a dividend of 7 per cent. The report speaks favorably of the me of Australian coal in the Company's steamers, but is silent respecting the mail service. Commercial. — Stocks are unsettled. Tallow is a sixpence lower. The committee of 30 members chosen to consider the constitutional proposals submitted by the G-overnment, assembled on Monday, when M.- Thiera expressed his regret that the constitution of the committee renders the partial renewal of the Assembly impossible. He will not modify the Ministry until the report is presented, then if it is hostile to big views, he will oppose it in the Assembly. Dec. 8. The situation at Versailles is less critical. The President of the Committee of 30, M. Larcy, and the Vice-President, M. Audriffefc, had a friendly conversation with M. Thiers yesterday. The Berlin papers say that Germany is indifferent to the internal conflicts in France. Dec. 9. Contrary to expectation, the following Ministerial changes in the French Cabinet are announced : — M. Goulard, Minister of the Interior ; M. Leon Say, Finance ;M. Gourton, Public Works. It is believed that these changes will terminate the crisiß.
