Horace G-reeley has been nominated for the Presidency by the Cincinnati Convention and the Liberal Republicans. The Democrats are expected to support Adams. This division imperils Grant's re-election. The number of representatives in the Congress is to be increased to 292. Niblo's New York Theatre has been totally destroyed by fire. A bill repealing the import duties on tea and coffee has come into operation.
