Messrs Driver, Stewart & Co, report : — We held our usual sale of wool and skins on the 17th inst. There was a good attendance of foreign and local buyers, growers, merchants, and others interested, and the bidding throughout was Tery spirited ; and we estimate' that <he prices obtained show an advance of to fd on last sales. We offered 65 lots, containing 600 bales, all of which were sold at prices in almost every instance above the owners' valuations. The following is the range of prices, viz. : — Greasy merino, 9i to 14i<i ; ditto cross-bred, 13d to 15fd; washed ditto, 18id to 21 fd ; washed merino, 18£ dto 21d.
