DUNEDIN FLAX REPORT.
Messrs li'Landress, Hepburn and Co. report ' that they held their periodical sale of flax on the 12th inst. The attendance of buyers was not so numerous as on the occasion of tho previous sale, : and the bidding was not quite so spirited, caused, no doubt, by the rebent war intelligence from Europe. Still, almost the whole quantity catalogued was sold at prices very much on a par with last sale. The various lots submitted showed evidence of greater dare in dressing.
