NEW ZEALAND FLAX.

The business during the past month has been very limited, but this may be attributed partly to the Easter Holidays, and' partly to general depression in trade, which we regret to say has continued since our last report. There have been only two public sales during the month, at which a few lots changed- hands at about former rates. Privately a small business bas been got through, and a more active demand may, we think, be anticipated during tbe next month. It is known, however, that considerable quantities are still afloat for this market.
