JAPAN.
Feb. 23. The naval court;, which sat for the purpose of investigating the circumstances connected with the disastrous collision between the Peninsular and Oriental steamer Bombay and the American corvette Oneida, considered Captain Eyre, of the Bombay, culpable for not remaining by the sinking ship, and suspended his certificate for six months. The telegraph from Xeddo to Yokohama is open for the public.
