Tampico has been captured by the Liberals. The National Convention *of Conservatives sustain President Johnson's restoration policy. The cholera is on the decline in New Xork, but is increasing in other towns. The Atlantic cable is worldng splendidly. The cable across the G-ulf of St Lawrence has been repaired, and there is daily communication with England.
