CUSTOMS' REVENUE.
Tho following returns show the amount of revenue collected at tho Custom House, Invercargill, for the month from 16th May to 15th June
The total revenue collected on above articles since beginning of the year up to 15th June, stands as follows :— Spirits, £4,936 12s. 7d.; tobacco, £562 lls. 6d.; wino, £393 3s. Bd.; cigars and snuff, £100 75. ; bottled ales, £302 18s. ; bulk ales, £165 55.; tea, £349 2s. Bd.; firearms, £3 10s. ; drapery goods, boots, &c. (by measurement), £1,056 Is. 2d. ; ironmongery, soap, candles, &c., (by weight), £166 9s. lOd. In all £8,632 ss. 4d.
(both days inclusive), as follcnvß : — Duty.
