I. INWARDS. Vessels Arriving from Foreign Ports for Tons. Quarter ended 31st March, 1864 4464 Do. do. from Ist April, to 16th Juno 1488 5452 11. OUTWARDS. Vessels Sailing for Foreign Ports for Tons. Quarter ouded 31st March, 1864 4510 Do. do. from lbt April to 16th Juno 1718 6228 In the return of departures from Ist April to 16th June as above, the tonnage of tho barque Star of Victoria is included. That vessel, however, was wrecked at the New River Deads ten days after clearing out , viz. 27th May last. Coastwise Tonnage Returns. Vessels Entered Inwards for month ended Tons. 16th instant 856 Do. do. Entered Outwards for same period 1549 These vessels are chiefly employed in the lightorago traffic betwixt the Bluff and Invcrcargill, but also represent those employed in the trade with Dunedin, Stewart's Island, Rivorton, &c, &c »
