RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before M. Price, Esq., R. M.) Friday, 6th February. Tipsy. — Alexander Hay for thia offence was fined ss. Saturday, 7th February. Mutiny. — James Campbell, seaman on board the Eucalyptus, for refusi.ig to obey orders while in the harbor, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. Alleged Unsound Mind. — Wesley Despard, brought up on remand for examination as to his sanity, was discharged. Monday, 9th February. Inebriates. — John R^ss was fined in 20s for being drunk in the streets. Thomas Henning, for the same offence, was Mulcted in the like sum. Charles Crawford forfeited his bail of two pounds by non-appearance. Indecency. — Thomas M'Carthy was fined 20s. or 7 days imprisonment for indecently exposing his person. Obscenity. — John Parsons, was fined 40s. or 7 days imprisonment for making use of obscene language in the stieets.
