SOCIABLE ODDFELLOWS.
The members of the-St. George Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., received a visit from the District Officers (Bro. C. S. Brass, Provincial G.M.; Bro. J. Stead, Deputy G. M.; Bro. H. Mair, C. S. ; and P. P. G. M. Bro. T. Findlay, District Treasurer) at the close of their usual business on Tuesday evening last. The occasion w r as pleasantly marked by the spending of a social hour, among those w 7 ho contributed to the pleasure of the company being Bros. N. Mcßobie, J. Aitken, J. S. Goldie, A. F. Grenfell, R. Tooley and Jenkins, who gave some capital songs, while readings were given by Bros. D. Bissett and J. McLean, It may be added that the piano used —a fine instrument—was kindly lent for the
occasion by Mr Pearson (of Pearson, Scott and Co., auctioneers) and that the accompaniments were well played by Mr .T. A. Hanan.
