The 1S T . M. and A. Co. report of the Invercargill stock market of Tuesday as follows Fat Cattle —52 head entered, two thirds of which were only fair ‘stores, but owing to the absence of tat meat, those were taken up by the trade. Pest heavy bullocks brought L 8 10s to L/10 ; good quality, L 7 5s to L 8 ; and cows from L 3 Iqs up to L 7 for prime. Store cattle—3 22 head yarded, but as owners declined to accept prices offered the bulk were turned out unsold. A few sales were made at about late prices. We yarded 34 head. Fat sheep—lo3l, including lambs, were penned. Tnc demand was very limited, irregular, and discouraging. Best heavy
wathers brought 12s 8d to 13s lOd in emalt lots; prime ewes, 11s ; fat lambs, 9s 9d to 11a 3d. Store Sheep—G-10 yarded. Buyers not operating ; the market was very dull. Twotooth wethers brought 9s to 10s 7d ; small do, 7s ; lambs, 5s to 6s.
