JJTEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS Christmas Holidays, 1893. Train Arrangements. Saturday, December 23rd. The usual 9.30 p.m. Bluff train will not leave Invercargill till 10.30 p.m., returning from Bluff at 11.30 p.m. The usual 9.35 p.m. Woocllands train will not leave Invercargill till 10.35 p.m., returning from Woodlands at 11.35. Monday, December 25th. Christmas Day. All trains on the Southland section will be suspended, with the following exceptions;— The express trains to and from .Dunedin, the 7.5 a.m. Invercargill to Gore, the 3.30 p.m. Gore to Invercargill, the 9.15 a.m. Invercargill to Riverton, the 3. 35 p.m. Riverton to Invercargill, the 8.45 a m. Kingtson to Gore, and the 2.5 p.m. Gere to Kingston. Trains will leave Invercargill for Bluff at 9.50 a.m. and 2.15 p.m., returning from the llluff at 10.45 a.m. and 6 p.m. All goods traffic will be suspended. Tuesday, December 26th. Orepuki Line. Riverton Regatta. A special train will leave Invercargill at 9.0 a.m., Makarewa 9.?8 a.m., Thornbury 10.15 a m., Riverton 10.40 a.m., arriving Orepuki 11.45 a.m.; returning, leaving Orepuki 4.30 p.m., Riverton G.O p.m., arriving Invercargill 7.40 p.m. Return special connects at Makarewa with evening train to Lunisden. The usual 4.5 p.m. Orepuki train will not leave Invercargill till 0.15 p.m., connecting at Thornbury with train to Rightcaps. The usual 5.5 p.m. Nightcaps train will not leave Riverton till 7.10 p.m., Otautau 8.25 p.m. Lumsden Line. Winton Caledonian Sports. A special train will leave Invercargill at 10 a.m., arriving Winton 11.5 a.m. The usual 3.35 p.m. Invercargill train will not leave Lumsden till 5.20 p.m., Winton 7.15 p.m., arriving Invercargill 8.30 p.m. The usual 4.3 J p.m. Lumsden train will not leave Invercargill till 0.35 p.m., Makarewa 7.10 p.m., Winton 7-55 p.m. Clinton Line. Southland Races. The usual 4.20 p.m. Clinton train will not leave Invercargill till 6.20 p.m., Woodlands 7 p m., Edendale 7. 40 p.m., Gore 8.40 p.m., arriving Clinton 10.20 p.m. This train and also the morning train from Clinton and north express will stop opposite the Racecourse for passenger traffic. Gore Caledonian Sports. The usual 3.30 p.m. Invercargill train will not leave (Toro till 0.15 p.m., IVlataura 6.40 p.m., Edendale 7.10 p.m., Woodlands 7.55 p.m., arriving at Inveicargiil 8.35 p.m. Watmka Li.mu The usual 4 p.m. train will not leave Gore till 7 p.m., Riversdale 8.5 p.m., arriving Lumsden 9.10 p.m. Bluer Line. The ordinary time-table will be susneuded and special trains will run as follows —Invercargill depart 7 a.m., 9.45 a.m., 11.50 a.m., 2 p.m., 5.20 p.m., 10.30 p.m., returning leaving Bluff at 8 a.m., 10.45 a.m., 1 p.m., 4.10 p.m., 6.20 p.m., 11.30 p.m. City Guards’ Band Picnic at Mokotua, A special passenger train will leave Invercargill at 9.30 a.m., arriving Mokotua 10.5 a.m., returning leaving Mokotua 6 p.m., arriving Invercargill 6.35 p.m. These trains will stop at Appleby only. Wednesday, Dec. 27th. Southland Races. The 4.20 p.m. Invercargill-Clinton train will run same as on Tuesday, Dec. 26th. The same trains will also stop opposite racecourse. Excursion Pares. From Invercargill, Ke'w, Clifton, and Woodencl, to Ocean Beach and Bluff on Dec. 26th and 27th Invercargill to Branxhokne inclusive to Riverton on Dec. 26th Orepuki and Bahia to Riverton on Dec. 26th Invercargill to M okotua on Dec. 26th These tickets y of issue only Tickets from Ist Class. 2nd Class. In rcrcargill, Branxholme, d intermediate stations to Riverton in;de 6d admission to Riverton Bridge, rickets for Mokotua include 6d admission the grounds.
