OBITUARY.
MRS VAL. CROON; AGED 55 YEARS,
It is Avith deep regret Ave have to record the death, which occurred suddenly at her late residence, Motuiti, on Thursday afternoon, of Mrs Croon, Avii'e of' Mr Val Croon, manager of Motuiti Flax Company. . The lati Mrs Croon had been indisposed of late, but had apparently improved in health, and her death Avas quite unexpected. On Thursday morning shi suddenly collapsed., anel before medical assistance had arrived she passed aAvay. The late Mrs Croon, who was 55 y.ears of age, Avas born in Sheffield, England, and arrived in New Zealand with her parents at the age of four years. She Avas a daughter of the late Rev. J. Foster and Mrs Foster, of Hamilton. Durinig '.her |lon;g residence in the Mauawatu district, Mrs Croon hud endeared herself to a large circle of friends, her kindly manner having avou the highest esteem of those Avith Avhom she came in contact. To her sorroAVAving husband and family of three sons and two daughters much sympathy Avill be extended.
