HOROWHTJNUA CLUB'S ANNUAL SALE. The Horowhenua Jersey Cattle Breeders' Club .held their annual sale of pedigree Jersey bulls and heifers on the Levin Showgrounds last Friday, the auctioneers being Messrs Wright, Step heiipou and Co., Ltd. There was a good attendance' of buyers but the sale, although better than last year, was patchy There was a fairly keen demand for bulls, but little enquiry for heifers, several being passed in. The highest'price realised was for the yearling bull, Eatavalc Double Birch, on account of Airs I W. Spiers, which was disposed of to Mr Robert Gibbs, Menzies' Ferry, Southland, for 107 gns. The following are the prices realised: On account of J. Nicholson. —Bull, Hui Mai Vandal, 35 guineas, Mr Walter Kilsby, Levin. On account of R. Eolston. —Heifer, Senora Sweetbriar, 10 guineas, Wright, Stephenson and Co., as agents. On account of E. Eolston. —Heifer, Owl's Anemone, 16 guineas, Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., as agents. On account of E. -Eolston.—Bull, Victor's Royalist, 14 guineas, Mr C. Blenkhorn, Levin. On account of Mr?. I. W. Spcirs.— Bull, Ratavale Double Birch, 107 gns., Mr Robt. Gibbs, Menzies' Ferry, "Southland.
