On Saturday afternoon the return match with the Foxton Club was played on the Shannon links, and resulted in a win for the Foxton club by 9 games to 3. The conditions were ideal and the course in good order. The Foxton club are to be congratulated on their win which we understand is their first in inter-club matches. Trueman lost to Stevenson. Ross lost to H. Stern. Walton beat Cronquest. LADIES (12 HOLES). Mrs Walton beat Miss Pederson. Mrs Newton beat Mrs Moynihan. Mrs Moore beat Mrs Cronquest. Mrs Stanley beat Mrs Stern. Mrs P. Easton beat Mrs H. Easton. Miss Robinson lost to Miss Goodwin. Miss Bowe and Miss D. Jones halved.
