JUNIOR KNOCK-OUT CONTEST.
LICENSED VICTUALLERS' CUP. The game in the competition for the above Cup between Shannon and Wanderers, set down to be played at Shannon on' Saturday, did not eventuate, owing to neither Club being able to raise a team. Seeing this* is only the first round for the trophy, the prospects for an interesting competition do not look too bright. MANAWHENUA TEAM TOR HAWKE'S BAY.
