NOAD SHIELD.
SCHOOLS’ SEVEN-A-SIDE RUGBY. A BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT. A big double attraction will take place on the Park Domain, Levin, on Wednesday afternoon, when the Noad Shield will be played for by ,seven-a- * side Rugby teams from the schools of . the district, and a girls ’ six-a-side basketball tournament will be held. The first round of the football .contest will begin at 2 p.m. Ebtries. for this close with Mr H. J. Jones, Levin District High School, on Monday, at - 3 p.m., and players, to be eligible, must- have 'been of a weight not exceeding Bst 71b at May 31-st last. _ The price of admission to the grounds is one shilling, and it may be asserted with confidence that the public will receive its money’s worth.
