MAKING RATES FOR YEAR 1929—1930. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Shannon Borough Council, pursuant to Section 54 of the Rating Act, 1925, will at a Council meeting to be held on the 25th day of June, 1929, at the Shannon Borough Council Chambers, Plimmer Terrace, Shannon, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1929, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1930, namely— A general rate under Section 77 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, of in the pound sterling on the capital value of all the rateable property within the Borough of Shannon. A Hospital and Charitable Aid rate of id in the pound. A Sanitary charge of sixpence per week for each convenience on each and every premise's containing isuch convenience. A special Water Rate of, fd in the pound on the Capital Value of all the rateable property within the Borough of Shannon to provide the interest, principal and sinking fund on the water supply loans. A separate special rate of §d of a penny in the pound on the capital value .of all the i rateable property included in special loans Nos. 76 and 67. All the above rates are payable at the office of the Shannon Borough Council in one instalment on the 11th day of July, 1929. Also that notice be given that tho Rate Book containing particulars of air the above rates and sanitarycharge, also the Valuation Roll containing the values on which the rates are assessed is open for inspection at the Borough Council office during office hours.
