DIXON CUP COMES BACK.

LEVIN RINK VICTORIOUS OVER DANNEVIRKE. That much-coveted trophy, the Dixon Cup, has again come into the possession of the Levin Bowling Club. In November, 1927, it was won by them, and after being defended successfully against several challenges Avas lost in the following month to Eketahuna. The trophy was last held at Dannevirke, and Wednesday a Levin team, consisting of J. D. Brown, W. Clark, W. Bull and M'. J. ISuhau (s), journeyed to that town and won the Cup from a Dannevirke. rink skipped by G. Rankin. The game was a strenuous one, and resulted in the visitors gaining the day by 18 points to 16.
