TUNING
The so-called 'tuning' of a carburettor consists of adjusting it to give it the correct oxplosive mixture at all speeds,- and with present-day fittings this is not a very difficult undertaking. A high grade motor fuel is necessary to obtain satisfactory carburretion. By removing these vapours the possibility of their condensing within the engine and causing trouble is eliminated. For each pound of gasoline burnt in an engine, nearly 1.51 b. of water is produced, most of which vpassea out of the exhaust valves.
