SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING.
The above meeting held in the schoolroom last evening was presided over by Mr A. E. Hyde, others present were Messrs G. Booker, W. Christian, C. Hansmann, G. Mercer and A. Hill (secretary). HEADMASTER'S REPORT.
The headmaster (Mr A. T. White) reported as follows:—The attendance has suffered very much through sickness, the weekly averages being 29C, 287, 289, 287, with a roll number of t 326. "■ \
A letter was - received from the Board's Supervisor of Buildings stating that the Committee's suggestions in connection with the proposed remodelling of the school buildings, will receive consideration when plans are being prepared prior to. calling tenders.—-Re-ceived.
Mr G. Mercer was appointed to fill the vacancy on the committee caused by the resignation of-Mr F. Goldsmith. ' Messrs A. E. Hyde and A. Coatef were appointed the visiting committee for the ensuing month,
