MAORILAND THEATRE.

"FOREVER AFTER." "Forever After," . First National picture starring Mary Astor and Lloyd Hughes, which will open at the local theatre to-morrow, is a romantic tale of the love affair between a New England belle and the son of the town's impecunious lawyer. Their romance lilts through the adolescence of high school, the gay days of college, and finally crashes to a dramatic climax in a battle-scarred hospital of war-time France. Mary Astor lends her graceful beauty to the leading feminine role. Lloyd Hughes gives a vigorous portrayal of the ambitious young lover who see.ks to win fresh laurels for his love on the. football field and battlefield. The supporting cast present _a ■ wealth of well-known screen names, including Alex Francis/ the ever-lovable character actor of First National . "THE MUSIC MASTER." "The Music Master," which opens at the Maoriland Theatre on Friday, is a revival of the old stage play which scored such a tremendous success twenty years ago. Skillfully adapted to the screen by the Fox director, Allan Dwan, there is every reason to believe that it will be even more popular than it was in its original form. The*%jjory is of a lovable musician who lepf*a brilliant career in Vienna to search nineteen years for his wife, who left his home with another man, taking with her his baby daughter. The two big dramatic scenes are when he finds the daughter, and later when he comes face to face with the man who has betrayed him. But the chief charm of the story lies in the delicate charm of the- characterization. ■
