MAORILAND PICTURES.

"SEE YOU IN JAIL." Wednesday night's picture at the Maoriland Theatre will be "See You in Jail." The story involves the experience of a rich man's son who is in Temporary disgrace and is repudiated by h.s father. lie accepts the post of proxy "for a millionaire arrested in Los Angeles for speeding, and taking his place in jail to serve a brief sentence. There he meets several wealthy men who are improsioned for similar offences and they accept him as the famous original—R. Morrisey. An inventor, also a prisoner, interests him in an invention and the lot of them form a corporation to exploit the product. Meanwhile the hero has fallen in love with the sister of the man he is impersonating, and when finally he is accused by that worthy of using his name for dishonest purposes, she takes the onus of the matter and he is not only exonerated but makes a fortune and wins the girl for his wife.

Alice Day plays opposite Mulhall and Mack Swain, the noted comedian, has an important part..
