WEDDING.

EASTON—HENRY. A very pretty wedding took place on January 25th, at Ven. Bede's Church, Shannon, when Miss Erice Easton, third daughter of Mr W. Eiston, was married to Mr Samuel Henry, eldest son of Mrs Henry, of Hastings. The Rev. A. J. Darnell officiated. The bride was given away by her father and looked charming in a white satin dress, trimmed with radium lace, the train being lined with shell pink lace, and fastenI ed at the shoulders with a pearl ornament." Her veil" was artistically arranged with clusters of orange bios-, soms, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and carnations. Miss Violet Henry, the bridegroom's sister, was chief bridesmaid, wearing beige cr-epe-de-chine with hat to match and carried a bouquet of pink and mauve carnations,- her gift from the bridegroom being a signet ring. Miss Olywen Easton, sister of the bride* wore eau-de-liil crepe de chine, with mauve rosebud trimming, with a tulle cap prettily ar-" 1 ranged with rosebuds, and a mauve bouquet. She also, wore a string of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. The little twin daughters of Mr Hughie .Easton, Rona and Lois, Avere flower girls, dressed in cyclamen taffeta, with a band of gold leaves round their heads, gold .shoes and stockings, and carried Victorian posies. They wore gold brooches, the gift of the bridegroom. Little Rita Easton, nieee of the bride, carried the lucky silver horee shoe, and was dressed in mauve taffeta; with a tulle cap. She wore a gold brooch, the gift of the bridegioom, and wee Billie" Easton was page and carried the bride's train, being dressed in black velvet. Mr L. Frost (Wellington) was best man, and Mr W. Easton, junr., groomsman. The church was prettily decorated and Mrs Clifford Jones presided at the organ. The reception was afterwards held in the Druids' Hall, Mrs W. Easton, the bride's mother, received the' guests. She was dressed in a French nude crepe-de-ehine with hat to match, Mrs Henry, the bridegroom's mother, wore black crepe-de-chine lelieved with' blue, and black hat. Among the many guests were Mrs P. Bang and Mrs P. Burke ( sisters of the bride), Mrs W. Easton, juii.,' Mrs Hughie Easton, Mrs Chas. Easton, Miss Nancy and Mavis Easton, Mrs Humphrey, and Miss Nola Humphrey (Wanganui), Mrs R. Easton (Foxton), Mrs L. Henry (Hastings), Mrs C. Petersen (Foxton). Mrs Seabury, Mrs T. C. Gollins, Mrs W. Palloon, Mr?iJ. Webster (Hastings), Mrs Farnell,. Mrs Terry, Mrs Jamieson, tli-3 Misses Inez and lna Easton, and many others. The bride's going away dress was of rose beige crepe de chine, hat en suite, with black coat and fox furs (the gift of the bridegrom). The beautiful bouquets were the gift of Mr G. Britton, of Eastings.
