MANGAORE NOTES.
Mr. B. M. Chrvstall, who has been transferred to Head Office, Wellington, was farewelled by the staff on Satuiday morning last,, when Mix Robinson made a presentation, and wished Mr. Chrystall everv success in his new sphere of life. Mr. Chrystall suitably responded. rr , . Mesdames Adamson and McKnilay are at present on a visit to Wellington. Mi 1 . W. A. Mardon, of the Wairoa Staff, was a- visitor to the works on Tuesday. Mrs D. Moynilmn, of Greymouth, is at present staying with her daughter, Mrs F. Goldsmith. , Mr. and Mrs Elvines and family have returned from holidaying at the Waikanae Beach.
Mr. N. M. Porter left on Tuesday morning to attend the annual Military camp at the Marton racecouree. .Misses George and Liggins, who, were guests of Mrp Eric James, have returned to Palmerston North. Mi. and Mrs J. 11. Roberts and family left <for Wairoa on Tuesday morning. Mr. Roberts, who has been transferred to Waikaremoana, was farewelled by members of the staff on. Monday evening last. Mr. and Mrs knelling, Jr., who have been visiting Mrs , Snelling, returned to Auckland last week.
Mr. A. A. Quartennain, of the Man-, galmo staff, who, has been lying seriously ill in the Blenheim Hospital), is on the infprovo, so says a telegram. Mr, and Mrs B. Murdoch and family hard returned from holidaying in the Hawke's Bay. C Mr. Ken Logan ■ returned at the week-end from holidaying in the South Canterbury district.
