OBITUARY.

MR D. E. FORSYTH. The death occurred last evening at the Palmerston North Hospital after a short illness, of Mr Donald Eric Forsyth, headmaster (jf the Tokomaru School. Deceased, who was 57 years of age, was born in Allahabad (India) and came out to New Zealand in 1888. For some years he was farming in the Nelson district but subsequently took up school teaching as a profession, being stationed successively at Westport, Stanley Brook and Appleby, in the Nelson district, Kaitawa, near Pahiatua, Koputaroa for 13 years and finally Tokomaru for the past 12 months. Besides a widow, deceased leaves one son and two daughters.
