WEDDING BELLS.
WILSON—JAMIESON . A pretty wedding was solemnised at Yen. -Bede 's Church, Shannon on Wednesday evening last. 'The service was choral and the church prettily deeor'aied. The contracting (parties were Miss Jessie Jamieson, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Jamieson "Te Kara." very old residents of Shannon, and Frank Wilson, eldest son of Mrs C". Petersen and the late Mr L. Wilson. Foxton.- The Rev. A. J. Farnell performed the ceremony and the wed-, ding march was played by Miss K. Williams, Tokomaru. The bride, who entered the church on her father's arm, wore a pretty gown of white brocaded crepe de chene and silver lace, her white veil/was embroideied in silver and had a French coronet of pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a. bouquet or• white roses and maiden hair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Jamieson, chief, who wore cyclamen taffeta ■and silver lace, and Miss Marjorie Richardson, cousin of the bride, in pahv blue -taffeta -and••silver': lace; each carTied -'beautiful''bouquets to tone with their gowns. The bridegroom was attended -b# Mr E. Satherly, best mau,. and Mt F. Jamieson, Junr.,. groomsman. <' ' . . . - The reception .was held at the Parish Hall, when the guests were'received by the bride's par ants. The bride's mother wore navy irepe de chine fro^ li .- navy blue coat and hat en suite. The bridegroom's mother wore black crepe de chene, relieved with white, and hat u> macch: Among the numerous guests present were Mrs J. Japvieson, of Wei ".ington, grandmother of the bride, Mesdames G. Halliday, W. iAtkins, C. Usmar, J. L. and J. and L. Richardson, and many friends of both parties. The bride's travelling costume was navy blue worn with a vieux rose panne velvet hat and a fox fur ; the bridegroom's gift. The couple left,by mo-, ro'r for the north where the honeymoon is to be spent.
