Many of the sheep jens at Fr-mkh-n on Tuesday were ticketed with the description of the sheep therein and the district from whioh they had come (says the Waikato Times). Appreciation was voiced by a number present regarding this innovation, as it appeared to be,regarded so far as Frankton was concerned. "An "old-timer," however, was heard to remark that it was merely the revival of an old practice, and that many years ago, when the sales were held at Ohaupo and sometimes as many as 20,000 yarded there,. this ticketing of pens used to be the rule.
