TENNIS NOTES.

The Tennis Club was favoured with glorious weather on Saturday for their fourth “colour” match and a very large gathering of local and Mangaore players were present. The result was what appears au overwhelming win for “Gold” in sets 15—7, though the difference in games was .only 10, the score being 109—99. Shaunon, on the Shannon courts -early in December. . • There is every prospect of a success: ful dance in the Parish Hall to-night, in aid of tennis court funds, and as if is a long time since the club made any sort of appeal to the public for funds, ‘t. is anticipated they will receive a fair measure of support.
