DISSATISFACTION ON RAILWAYS.
+ EMPLOYEES ALLEGE MISMANAGEMENT. WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The Locomotive Engineers’ Journal indicates serious dissatisfaction in the. railway service both with the Minister and the Board. The Journal alleges grajv© mismanagement and the old bogey that no money is available to meet requests for increased wages and improved conditions will not be accepted while mismanagement exists. Among the complaints are objections as to the quality of coal supplied. Stop-work meetings are hinted at to compel the management to reduce the prevalence oi draw gear failures. The Grand Council meeting on November 28 to discuss the question o*f ways and means of securing increased wages and improved conditions is described momentous. 1
