COUNCIL TO PURCHASE FERRY.
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF RATEPAYERS. AUCKLAND-, Sept. 30. The Takapuna Borough Council by 7 votes to 3, decided to exercise its option to purchase the tram anci ferry service for £65,000, subject to a poll of ratepayers.
