GOLF NOTES.

* MEDAL MATCH TO-MORROW. The inter-club match with Palmerston North has been postponed and consequently the August medal match will be played to-morrow afternoon. No doubt there will be some alterations in the handicaps of various players, but nevertheless some good scores are expected. The course is again in good order, the wind of the last few days having dried up the pools and muddy patches in a wonderful way. In regard to lost balls; members are requested to register their marks, and any player finding a ball with a mark, is morally bound to return it to its owner. As no arrangements have been made for afternoon tea to-morrow, players are requested to supply their own eatables. Tea, sugar and milk will be provided.
