SHANNON STOCK SALE.
The usual monthly stock sale was held in the. Shannon yards yesterday, there being a good attendance. A fair yarding of sheep came to hand but there was no enquiry, and all the lines were passed in. The cattle yarded consisted mostly of fat cows, which sold well. Following were the prices realised:—Heavy fat cows £4 17s 6d to £6 fat cows £3 6s to £4 10s, forward cows £2 2s 6d to £2 15s, store cows 30s yearling heifers 28s, bulls according to weight, 10s to £3 10s.
