MAORILAND THEATRE.
"THE -WINDING STAIR" "Tiie Winding Stair" the first 'picture'to be directed by John Griffith Wray for William Fox, which will be screened at to Muoriland Theatre on Saturday is adapted from tire exotic and romantic novel by A. E. \V. Mason, noted English author. Its locale is Morocco, with the French Foreign Legion prominent in the action of. the story. Edmund Lowe, playing • 'the role" of th ehero, is cast as on officer of the legion, as is also Mahlon Hamilton, who plays second lead. 'A WOMAN'S FAITH/' Almost on the eve of his wedding day he found the girl he was to marry in the arms of his best friend. This double duplicity shattered his belief in all that is'good and noble until he met a girl. It is told in "A Woman's Faith," Universal .Towel production featuring Alma Rubens with Percy Marnioni, to be shown in the Maoriland Sbcatre on Monday evening. It is a screen adaptation of "Miracle," Clarance Budington Kelland's splendid human story that ran as a serial in the Ladies' Home Journal. Edward Laemmle directed.
