On Saturday Levin played Weraroa B, and although the fartmer batted a'man short they walked home with the comiortatole difference of an innings and 4.7 runs. The match produced some good bowling averages, principal among which were Phillips (L.) 3 for 4, and Auckram (L.) 3 lor 7. Wfith 3 wickets down for 124, there seemed every likelihood of a big total for Levin, but the remaining. wickets fell quickly for a further 47 runs. Weraroa B could only manage to hit up 76 and •were obliged to follow on. Levin were smart in the field, a couple of sudden returns -causing'--both Harding and Edlin theiir wickets. Langelan batted well for his. 21. With an hour to go, Weraroa B took their second strike, the last wicket falling just on time with an innings total of 48 runs. The. details are given 'below:—
