AIBA WAR. SYDNEY, Decemlber 22. 1 Recently a junee storekeeper, J. G. Mansour, was selling a certain brand of tea at 2s "2d, while oihers in the town' were selling at 2s 5d and 2s 6d Another firm, 3. S. Taylor, decided to kill opposition, and advertised, the tea at 2s. Mansour "saw him" and called Is 9d: ■ Taylor remained in and. caned is 6d. Mansour met the drop and quoted Is sd. ■''.,. _ . 'Then Taylor announced, m rxiday's issue of the local paper, that he was giving away one pound ot tea free with every 10s order. Yesterday -Mansour went one better He advertised a pound of tea and a cup and saucer free With every 10a order. Residents are wondering when the competition is going to stop, and in the meantime are getting well stocked with tea.
