— SMALL OFFERINGS—AVERAGE PRICES. Three pens of hoggets and one of wethers were passed in yesterday at the. salevards. The continued lack of feed and good weather accounted for the dispirited bidding, and only fair attendance. A nice line of springing heifers brought prices ranging from £4 17s 6d to £7 15s but quotations in other departments were just average. Pigs gave only fair returns. Sheep.—Fat. ewes 37s Id to £2: ewes and lambs 52s 7d; hoggets. 30s. Cows. —Fats £5 to £6 17s 6d. forward £2 17s 6 to £4 12s 6d. stores 35s to £2, yearling steers £4 Bs, 3-year-old steers £7 Bs, fat cows (medium quality) £7 2s 6d. Pigs. —Light porkers £2 5s to £2 12s 6d, heavy ditto' £2 15s to £3 ss. heavy baconers to £4 ss, "breeding sows £2 12s 6d to £3 2s 6d, weaners 16s to 20s 6d, stores 22s to 30s. .
