IRISH DRAMA.
PATHOS, SENTIMENT AND GOOD ACTING. 'J he Denis Kehoe Company are showing in Shannon this evening. The foil awing report of their performance in i.eviu last night will be of interest to our readers. A genuine Irish drama always makes an irresistible appeal to the public for its beautiful sentiment and deep pathos are highly appreciated. The Denis 'Kehoe Company which apeared at the People's Theatre last evening are a well-chosen company who preserve the true Irish atmosphere and with a most- elaborate wardrobe present plays reminiscent of Allen Doone or that veteran Dion Boueicault. Mr Kehoe is becoming mote popular still lor Ills selections on .lis little Irish harp and last evening had to respond to two enthusiastic" recalls. . To individually criticise the work of the various players would only be a monotonous reiteration of pra.se and it was ; welcome news to the big audience when Mr Kehoe announced that he would pay a return visit.in a few months time when they would .present "Molly "Bawn.' 1 The incidental music was supplied by that veteran pianist, Mr Percy Kehoe, now over 80 years of age, but who prpved that lie was still as capable as many of ihe younger generation ol musicians.
