HOPES FOR RE-FLOATING.
WANGANUI, May 26. Tlie steamer Cyrene is the north mole, fairly close in to the beach This morning the lighter Ina went out and laid a stern anchor. Salvage on a big scale will he attempted when the Terawhiti arrives.. The sea is at present moderate and there is a hopeful feeling of refloating the steamer, but everything depends upon the weather.
