SHANNON NOMINATIONS.

Nominations for the Shannon School Committee are as follows: Messrs R. L. Tippler, D. Gustofsen, \V. M. Brown, G. T. Watkins, J. 1L Roberts, A. R. Blackwood, James Ewant, M. Tippler, D. 3. Brann, W. Phillips, \V.' H. Lankshear, W". S. Jamieson, J. T. Riches, A. H. Richards, 1. V. Burns. The first four nominations are members of the olu committee. MOUTOA SCHOOL. The annual meeting was held last week being the largest in the district for some time. Great interest was evinced in the proceedings. The old committee were re-elected;. Messrs Verity (chairman), Treggell, Spring, Gregory, M. Campbell A discussion on the erection oi memorial slabs followed. It was decided that the slabs be engraved with the names of all who made the supreme sacrifice.
