THE COUNCIL'S DECISION. At pe special meeting of the Council last night it was decided: "That
this Council cannot see its way clear to proceed with the water scheme owing to financial reasons, and that,Mr Edwards be asked to discontinue operations." A report of the meeting and a quantity of other information in regard to the matter will appear in our next issue.
